M.E.W. FOUNDATION

mission statement:

The mission of the M.E.W. Productions Foundation is to amplify unheard diverse community voices of every age and hearing ability through inclusive performing arts education, unconventional youth scholarship support, and immersive community arts workshops.

vision:

Our vision is to create a movement where the arts serve as a communal bridge, not a barrier, for ALL.

Why M.E.W. Productions Foundation Exists:

M.E.W. Productions Foundation exists to break down barriers and stigmas around communication, especially for people who feel isolated due to hearing loss, language differences, trauma, age, or birth conditions. Many people never learn alternative ways to communicate unless forced by circumstance, which can lead to disconnection, embarrassment, and silence. We serve as a bridge by providing inclusive education, training, and community-based arts experiences that open secondary pathways of communication through performing arts such as acting, sign language, and creative writing. By using art as a universal language, we amplify unheard voices of all ages and hearing abilities, foster belonging, and build communities where expression, connection, and joy are accessible to all.
